Vision: To simplify and automate building risk management globally.
Mission: To reduce cybersecurity, public health, and environmental risks in commercial real estate with an SaaS platform that is easily usable by contractors and efficiently consumable by owners and managers.
Leadership: Totem was founded after years of industry-leading research and consulting on building controls cybersecurity and vendor risk management (VRM). Totem has a management team with precisely the right experience mix in the Prop Tech market, including executive leadership, innovation, software development, channelization, and growth.
- Steve Fey leads the company as CEO and has over 30 years of experience in building automation controls, including serving as President of Tridium, a smart building middleware company, during their key growth years. He recently served as President and COO of an IT-services firm providing comprehensive cloud-based offerings, including cybersecurity, managed services, and support.
- Ethan Foulkes is Totem’s Chief Product Officer and COO with responsibility for the Totem risk management software platform and growth planning. Most recently, Ethan was Vice President of Professional Services for CPrime, a leader in agile software development services. Ethan specializes in assembling highly talented global software teams and focusing products on solving real-life customer problems.
- Steve and Ethan are supported by their team of design and development experts and an Advisory Board of leading executives in technology and commercial real estate.
